Capstone Project Erau
It is the purpose of this project to show that a gap exists between the state of human factors science and how it is used in line flying operations of airlines. The gap is the result of economics, airline management, Federal regulations, and airline training departments failing to embrace current human factors practices.
All of the respondents embty current FAA part airline pilots.
The survey is qualitative and will collect ordinal data  from airline pilots. There will be no incentive for completing the survey. The data will then be extracted into two groups and prepared for the Mann Whitney U test. The recent inventions in fapstone industry have led to the development of Fatigue Risk Management Systems that helps the management to make risks associated with fatigue.
